第115回：congratulation！！

先日、オーストラリアに住んでいる幼馴染から
「昨日、無事に子供が生まれたよ！」とのLINEが届きました！！！

予定日は12月上旬と聞いていたので、2週間くらい早く誕生。

元気な女の子が生まれたそうです。

本当におめでとう。そして、お疲れ様です。

幼稚園、小学校、中学校が一緒だった幼馴染。

パパ、ママにも本当にお世話になったな～。

あの頃の思い出が一気によみがえってきました。

もう1年近く会っていないけど、早くbabyにも会いたい。

ハーフのbabyを抱っこするのは、ずっと夢だったんです。

その夢が現実になる日が来ると思うと、胸が熱くなります。

命の誕生は、ただ「おめでとう」だけでは言い尽くせない。

親になる責任、家族を守る覚悟、そして仲間や周りの人への感謝。

そのすべてが詰まった瞬間だと思います。

とにかく無事に生まれてよかった！！

来年はオーストラリアに行こうかな！！

新しい命に会いに行くことが、私自身の成長にもつながる気がします。

Episode 115: congratulation!!

The other day, I received a LINE message from my childhood friend who lives in Australia:
“Yesterday, my baby was safely born!”

The due date was supposed to be in early December, so the baby arrived about two weeks earlier.
It’s a healthy baby girl.
Congratulations, and well done!

This childhood friend went to the same kindergarten, elementary school, and junior high school as me.
I was also very much cared for by his parents.
All those memories suddenly came back to me.

It’s been almost a year since we last met, but I can’t wait to see the baby.
Holding a half-Japanese baby has always been a dream of mine.
The thought that this dream will come true makes me so excited.

The birth of a child is more than just saying “congratulations.”
It’s about the responsibility of becoming a parent, the determination to protect the family,
and the gratitude toward friends and everyone around.
All of that is contained in this one precious moment.

Above all, I’m just glad the baby was born safely!
Maybe I’ll go to Australia next year to meet the new life.
I feel that meeting this baby will also help me grow as a person.
